The art of an elegant woman’s presentation is seen by first impressions as well as last. An elegant woman would never “run to the grocery store in her pajamas”.

Presentation is important. It does not have to be elaborate or overdone. On the contrary, it is to be a simple enhancement of the beauty and poise that is already within you.

*Rising early each day exercise first. This allows you to take care of your body properly without interruption in schedule or form. Participating in such things as Yoga, Ballet, Pilates and Walking are all elegant forms of exercise that also encourage proper posture, elongation of the muscles, and grace as you move in every day life. Whether in a group or a quiet place at home this is the most gentle way to take care of you.

*Upon finishing your exercise regimen you should bathe immediately. Establishing a morning routine of dry skin brushing, shaving, shower, and moisturizing is conducive to an efficient use of time and energy. Applying your makeup directly after this routine ensures that you are prepared for the day.

*Keeping a minimal wardrobe that consists of a few very good quality pieces that you are able to mix and match is the best way to dress well as an elegant woman. Fussing about what to wear or taking a long time to decide the outfit for the day is not elegant. It is dramatic and childish. Plan your wardrobe from these simple but elegant pieces and you will always look amazing as long as you make sure you smile-always.

*Now you are ready to sit down with grace and have your morning tea or coffee with a light breakfast. Always make sure that you plan a morning routine and stay on schedule so as to appear efficient and confident. A well-dressed woman running frantically out the door with a travel mug in hand is never elegant.

*Being organized is a part of being an elegant woman.
